The Snowy River Man

Charlie a man who has worked hard and lived a full life since arriving in Australia as a migrant from Germany to work on the Snowy River project.
Leaving behind his family in Germany to discover a knew world where life meant hard toil and sweat but gave hope for a better future for Charlie.
Working as a grader driver in the far north and Kimberly regions of Australia facing many daunting trials and tough times to save enough money to one day invest in property somewhere down south.
Charlie worked through many rough ,tough and hot places in the 1950's and 60's but enjoyed his life among the many wonderful characters our far north has produced.
Settling in Perth and raising a family has produced Charlie with a wonderful family he is so proud of.
Now in retirement in the northern outskirts of Perth on a few acres with a loverly home ,his family ,his goats and chooks to keep him busy.
Charlie has a wonderful story to tell and one day we hope we can share with you these stories.
